The UIC’s and deputies would be set up in the Board Room and will have the support of the NDSA Tech Development Director and the NDSA Board. A copy of our updated competition rules will be distributed and a hard copy kept in the board room for easy reference.

U23 Male and Female Rep Trials
Players and Team Officials nominations for U23 State Championships to be held 22 & 23 February 2020 at Blacktown are now being accepted.
To be eligible as a player you must be U23 years of age as at 31st December in the year of the championship.
Player and Official nomination forms can be downloaded from the forms page on this website, or will be available just outside the main doors to the Softball building and they maybe handed into the softball office before 6pm Saturday 19 October 2019.
If you would like to nominate as a team official please see below the required qualifications:
Head Coach - Level 3
Assistant Coach - Level 3
Statistician - Level 3
Manager - N/A
Nomination form/s can be returned to Kim Melliger either by email (email@example.com), or handed in directly to the Softball Office at Stevenson Park before 6pm Saturday 19 October 2019. (Please note, if you do not receive a confirmation email from me I have not received your nomination).
Nominations must be in writing and NO late nominations will be accepted, unless approved by the Board.
If we do not receive enough nominations for officials or players NDSA will be unable to enter teams.
All nominations close by 6pm Saturday 19 October 2019.

The Hunter Academy of Sport softball talent development program operates as a development pathway for young Hunter Region softballers aspiring towards state selection. It offers advanced skill development and is conducted in collaboration with both the Newcastle & District Softball Association and Softball NSW. The program follows the FTEM Model of pathway development, from Foundation, Talent, Elite and Mastery of the sport. Participants are also provided with information in sports education in areas such as, sport psychology, nutrition, injury management, strength and conditioning and motivation
NDSA will be hosting a pink day on 30th November, 2019.
Members should watch out for the pink socks order forms being sent out shortly to their club. Pink softballs will be available for purchase and he canteen will go pink for the day.
All funds raised go directly to BCNA to support their work ensuring all Australians affected by breast cancer receive the very best support, information, treatment and care.
